The Works™ includes a new 18-volt cordless chain saw and jig saw, as well as Ryobi’s highly popular 18-volt reciprocating saw, circular saw, drill/driver, wet/dry Tuff Sucker™ hand vac and flashlight. Also included is the new Ryobi Measure Tech™ electronic hand tool and a 41-piece blade/bit/file accessory set that will make any task easy to complete.

The duffle-style bag means DIYers can put all the tools in one bag with plenty of room for project plans, extra accessories, hand tools and materials. Because it’s wheeled, it can easily be transported to projects anywhere. Also included in The Works is a one-hour diagnostic charger and two 18-volt rechargeable battery packs.

It is great for demolition work when remodeling, and clearing brush, pruning back wayward tree branches and giving the yard a professional appearance. It features push button oiling for prolonged chain life, a built-in lock off to prevent accidental startups and the patented Safe-T-TipÆ which prevents rotational kickback. Bar oil is included.

Measure Tech™

Ryobi’s new Measure Tech™ is a 50-foot sonic measuring device. Utilizing a laser pointer for proper aiming, it can find interior room measurements up to 50-feet, making it useful for determining paint, flooring and carpeting needs and real estate and insurance estimates. It features a continuous LCD display that can measure as you walk and a handy conversion reference that can add lengths, find square and cubic measurements, and convert to and from foot and metric measurements.

Reciprocating Saw

The 18-volt variable-speed reciprocating saw features Ryobi’s no-hassle, tool-less blade changing system for quick, easy blade changes. Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to handle, while its variable speed trigger switch allows the user to effortlessly change cutting speeds while in the middle of a cut.

Ryobi’s reciprocating saw offers an electric brake for added control when cutting, and an overmold back handle and front grip area for real user comfort during extended tasks. It runs at 0-3000 SPM and has a 7/8" blade stroke.

Circular Saw

The tough, 18-volt 5-1/2" circular saw features a powerful high output motor, running at 4200 RPM, that makes quick work of any cutting task. It has been thoughtfully designed with an in-line handle and left-side blade design that improves user accuracy and provides excellent cut line visibility. The saw offers an overmold grip handle for added comfort and features a forward-located spindle lock for quick and easy blade changes.

The circular saw’s 5-1/2" thin-kerf, 18-tooth carbide-tipped blade provides longer blade life with a 1-9/16" depth of cut at 90 degrees and 1-1/8" at 45 degrees. It also has a 50-degree bevel capability. It comes with an edge guide and an on-board blade wrench.

Drill/Driver

The Ryobi 18-volt, 1/2" VSR drill/driver has been upgraded in a number of ways to continue to provide the DIYer with a drill loaded with professional features that makes drilling holes and driving screws quick and easy. It now has a larger, more powerful motor for heavy-duty torque applications. Its 24-position torque adjustment ring is now die cast and the chuck has a metal rear sleeve, enabling the drill/driver to handle the toughest job site use. It also features increased battery capacity for longer run time.

The drill/driver has a cushioned overmold grip, and features the Mag Tray™, a powerful magnet located on top of the drill’s battery housing that can hold small screws and bits. The Mag Tray keeps the items close at hand, making many repetitive tasks easier and faster to accomplish.

The drill/driver also features an electric brake, two-speed gear box (0-350 or 0-1300) and two unique, oversized built-in levels, one on top of the drill and one on the back to accurately identify the proper 90-degree angle, whether drilling horizontally or vertically. As an added feature, the top-mounted level is detachable and works as a level away from the tool, bringing added convenience and accuracy to every project.

Tuff Sucker™

The Tuff Sucker™ is an 18-volt cordless, dual-purpose hand vacuum for both wet and dry cleanup, making it one handy tool. It is ergonomically-designed and balanced for ease of use with an overmold grip on the handle for user comfort. It features an easy-clean dust cup and quick-change replaceable filter. The Tuff Sucker comes with a squeegee for wet pick-up, crevice tool and brush.

RYOBI DOES IT AGAIN!
ONE ROUTER FOR EVERY PROJECT, EVERY USER

2 HP 3-Base Router Combo Kit For Just $179

ANDERSON, SC – Ryobi’s award-winning router designers are at it again, introducing one router that is right for every user and every routing task. The new Ryobi 2 Peak HP 3-Base Router Combo Kit, Model RE1803BK, comes with a fixed base, plunge base and D-handle base, and will be available in late October at The Home Depot for just $179.

The 3-Base Router is the latest addition to Ryobi’s comprehensive router redesign project in which Ryobi design engineers spent hundreds of hours with router users to enhance the overall user comfort and performance of Ryobi routers.

The 3-Base Router has a 1/2-inch collet and a 1/4-inch collet adaptor to accommodate the most popular router bits. It has a powerful 9.5 amp all ball-bearing motor rated at 2 peak HP, featuring motor SoftStart™ to ensure a smooth start to any routing task. The combo’s electronically controlled variable speeds, from 15,000 to 25,000 RPM, means the router, with any base, will maintain a constant speed under load for consistent cuts and a quality finish.

Ryobi redesigned the handles for the fixed and plunge bases based on the user feedback. They now look like eggs and are placed closer to the work surface so users can rest their hands on the work piece. This produces less fatigue and more control for the user. The motor lock down design has been simplified with an easy-to-push cam lever with more holding force, which securely locks the motor in place for accurate cuts, and designers placed the spindle-lock mechanism next to the spindle for simple bit changing. They also added a micro-adjustment ring with zero reset for more accurate depth of cut adjustments on the fixed and D-handle bases.

The new 3-Base router is designed for easy, tool-free base changing, has a conveniently located on/off switch for easy operation, built-in scales for accurate depth of cut adjustments and a die cast aluminum base for increased accuracy and stability.

It has a 10-foot cord and accessories include a vacuum adaptor for the fixed and D-handle bases, an edge guide, five-piece template guide bushing kit and a carrying bag to hold the motor, bases, accessories and any plans and other tools needed to help make the task easy.

As with all Ryobi power tools, the Model RE1803BK is backed by a two-year limited product warranty and a 30-day no-risk satisfaction guarantee. The blue color used on this product and the combination of blue and yellow are trademarks for RYOBIÆ brand power tools. RYOBI MITER SAWS ENHANCE CUTTING ACCURACY WITH EXACTLINE™ LASER ALIGNMENT SYSTEM

Cut It Right First Time, Every Time

ANDERSON, SC – Ryobi’s taking the guess work out of cutting expensive hardwoods, molding and baseboard with the introduction of 10" and 12" compound miter saws featuring the Exactline™ laser alignment system.

Contractors and serious DIYers can now be assured that their Ryobi miter saw, whether it is the new 12" compound miter saw, Model TS1551DXL, or the new 10" compound miter saw, Model TS1352DXL, will make accurate cuts every time.

The Exactline™ laser alignment system consists of a laser disc integrated into the saw blade arbor that is factory set and self adjusting so you never have to readjust it after changing blades. The centrifugal switch automatically activates the laser line so you don’t have to remember to turn it on or off, saving battery power. When turned on it projects a precise laser line onto the work piece, ensuring an accurate cut every time at any angle.

With heavy-duty 15 AMP ball bearing motors running at 5,000 RPM, these saws have the power to cut the hardest woods. They also feature an electric brake that stops the blade in seconds for added control and a spindle lock for easy blade changes.

Both saws are extremely user friendly. They feature a horizontal D-handle design, which provides the user with excellent comfort and better control. Both saws have positive bevel stops at nine common cutting angles for added accuracy, and the scales and adjustment knobs are designed for greater ease of use.

The compound knuckle at the rear of these saws provides for a larger, easier to read bevel scale and allows for –2-degree to 47-degree right bevel angle adjustment. The bevel adjustment knob also is to the left of the saw for easier access from the user position.

The 12" saw also has a built-in measuring scale on the right fence for quick cut offs, allowing the user to cut up to 10" sections without a tape measure.

The cutting capacity on the 12" miter saw is designed for the big jobs. It can cross cut 2 x 8s and can miter to 47-degrees both left and right and make a 0- to 45-degree left bevel cut.

The 10" saw can cut 2 x 6s at 90 degrees, and a 2 x 6 at a 45-degree bevel. With 2 x 4s it performs a 45-degree miter and handles a 45-degree bevel with a 45-degree miter.

Both saws come with a 28-tooth carbide-tipped blade, dust bag and dust guide for vacuum system hook-up, work clamp, extension rails for extra support and a stop block for repetitive cutting. Both saws will be available at The Home Depot this fall – the 12" saw for under $230 and the 10" saw under $170.

As with all Ryobi power tools, the new 12" compound miter saw, Model TS1551DXL, and 10" compound miter saw, Model TS1352DXL, are backed by a two-year limited product warranty and a 30-day no-risk satisfaction guarantee.
